PRESS ACCESS
All press members affiliated with a nationally or regionally recognized media are invited to attend DeckExpo co-located with the Remodeling Show. As a member of the working press you have full access to the following areas of both shows:

PRESS REGISTRATION
Press registration is not available at this time. It is preferred that all press register in advance through the online press registration system when it is made available. Please note the system will require you to upload either a business card or an article byline, otherwise, no registration request will be received. Upon approval by Show Management, you will be emailed confirmation of your registration. Press Registration is scheduled to open in mid-June 2009.

If you plan to register as press onsite, you must first qualify and you will be asked to present a photo ID along with one of the following credentials:

> Business card from qualifying publication
> Listing of name and title on masthead of qualifying publication 
> Recent copy of by-lined article or newsletter 
> Freelance writers, artists or those without titles on their business card must have a letter of authorization, on letterhead, from the editor of the publication for which you are writing or contributing to a story.

PRESS CREDENTIALS
To qualify for press credentials, you must be an editor, publisher, staff reporter, television camera crew, or industry analyst from any of the following news organizations:

You WILL NOT qualify for press credentials if you are an advertising/sales/PR rep or any non-editorial personnel; however we welcome your presence at the Expo as a regular attendee.

DECKEXPO IMAGE AND VIDEO POLICY
Recording, filming, taping with video equipment on Exhibition grounds is prohibited without advanced permission from DeckExpo Show Management and the exhibitor being recorded.  Exhibitors shall be responsible for securing any and all necessary releases for any performances, displays or other uses of copyrighted works, patented inventions or other intellectual property. Show Management is authorized to record and use audio/visual materials recorded at the 2009 DeckExpo for all promotional materials directly related to the promotion of future DeckExpos. Radio and television reporters and cameramen must obtain an official Press Badge from the DeckExpo Press Room.

Filming/Photography on show days before the exhibit hall opens interferes with exhibit operations and will not be permitted.  Filming/Photography during move-in and move-out is not permitted. 

Only official members of the press with advance permission from Show Management will be allowed to film/tape on the show floor during exhibit hours. If you plan to have a TV, radio or video crew with you, a shot list must be provided in advance for approval by the Show Director. For questions or more information, please contact us directly.

IN REFERENCE TO THE REMODELING SHOW
When referring to the co-location with the Remodeling Show, the shows should be referenced as a co-location or "side-by-side."
