FORTY STOPS IN FORTY HOURS

July 28, Dallas TX – The marketing team from the Remodeling Show and DeckExpo take off for the second annual road trip August 2 through August 6, 2010, visiting lumberyards, building material suppliers and association partners in Baltimore and areas around Baltimore, including southeastern Pennsylvania, western Maryland, northern Virginia and the District of Columbia.   The “Forty Stops in Forty Hours” tour is a grass-roots effort to build relationships with building material suppliers and lumberyards who serve the residential construction market.  The 2010 Remodeling Show will be held September 15-17 (classes begin September 14) at Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  Owned and produced by Hanley Wood Exhibitions, the Remodeling Show is officially sponsored by NAHB, NAHB Remodelers and Remodeling magazine.

“We both serve residential construction professionals; however, we also want the material suppliers and lumberyards to know we serve them as well and can provide programs or ideas for strengthening relationships with their customers through our event,” stated Amy Allen, Director of the Remodeling Show, DeckExpo and JLC LIVE.  “It’s a simple, inexpensive ‘thank you for your business’ with free three-day exhibit hall admission and discounted packages of conference classes.”

Historically, Remodeling Show and DeckExpo have provided building material suppliers and lumberyards with complimentary passes for their customers to receive free exhibit hall admission and set up Customer Appreciation Days; however, this is only the second year the Show Management group has gotten into the driver’s seat to spend time in the field answering questions about the show; sharing the benefits of setting up a customer Appreciation Day during the 2010 event; delivering flyers in person versus through the mail and general face-time with remodeling contractors, suppliers and association chapter members.  “Our attendees are still feeling the effects of the economy and are spending time and money cautiously.  Any opportunity we can provide them to be able to attend the show at no cost or low cost is the ultimate goal.  Once they enter the Exhibit Hall, there will be so many free educational opportunities, it will be time well spent,” continued Allen.

For more information on setting up an in-person visit, a Customer Appreciation Day or to request flyers for your points-of-sale, call Alex Kephart at 972.536.6312 or email him at akephart@hanleywood.com.

Full conference schedules, detailed class descriptions and registration links are available at www.RemodelingShow.com and www.DeckExpo.com.  Customers who receive the flyer can take advantage of free exhibit hall admission and discounted conference classes through September 17, 2010, which is the close of the 2010 event.  This offer is exclusive to the flyer.
