DeckExpo Rolls Out Conference Program

May 26, 2009 - Dallas, TX – DeckExpo, co-located with the Remodeling Show in Indianapolis later this year (October 28 – 30), rolls out its 2009 conference program this week. Owned and operated by Hanley Wood Exhibitions, DeckExpo is a trade-only event officially sponsored by the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA) and PROFESSIONAL DECK BUILDER magazine.

“One word that best describes this year’s conference program is ‘connectedness.’  Many presenters are collaborating with each other to demonstrate how a specific business practice affects another.  The flow of information is concise and makes it easier to put into context,” said Paul Treanor, Senior Conference Manager for DeckExpo.  Some of the popular returning speakers include George Drummond, Adrienne Zoble and Mark Clement.  “Now more than ever, small business owners need guidance from experienced industry leaders to secure their future.  Instruction from the DeckExpo conference program offers proven business practices and methods to boost the sales pipeline in any deck-building company.”

The DeckExpo conference program consists of 36 courses from four education tracks: Business, Sales, Marketing and Deck Technical (new for 2009), and attendees who register for the Deck Full Conference Pass will be able to take up to 11 courses from these four tracks.  DeckExpo conference attendees looking to capitalize on Remodeling Show education tracks can register for an All-Access Pass and gain access to three additional tracks (Production, Sustainable Remodeling and Kitchen & Bath/Design) comprised of 24 courses.  The All-Access Pass option allows conference attendees to choose from a total of 60 courses in 7 education tracks from both the Remodeling Show and DeckExpo.   Those with limited time or limited budget can take advantage of the Individual Seminar Option allowing conference attendees to choose courses one-by-one to accommodate their busy schedules. Online conference registration opens in June at www.DeckExpo.com.

Pricing for the DeckExpo conference starts at $75.00.  A full list of conference package options and pricing is currently available online; course descriptions and a seminar search will be published  on www.DeckExpo.com by June 2009 when registration opens. All conference packages and individual seminars include Exhibit Hall admission for both DeckExpo and the Remodeling Show for all three days of the event.

NADRA will offer designation courses at DeckExpo on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 and registration will be available through www.DeckExpo.com along with details and pricing.
